WELCOME,
The samples must be originated categorically from University Schools (Archaeology and/or Medical School) and/or in connection and in the knowledge of the Archaeology Service (both for excavations held by her, as well as for private excavations) and/or the foreign archaeological schools that work in the country and wish to participate.
To be a verified (that means to have been followed the legal road) sample. For example, the samples originated from countries in a war status or/and with dubious or at all not accompanied paper work are going to be rejected and the related organizations for fighting illegal transportation of material is going to be informed. The documents that each item carry upon acquisition is going to be kept in our archives.
To be samples that actually can promote science and they are unique in terms of geographical, chronological, preservation and studying methods criteria.
In the case of PhD students when they offer their material in addition to the abovementioned documents they also must accompany their iii with documents that verifying that they are authorized to act accordingly.
Those who decide to offer samples they should be aware that at any given time they should lent it to other researchers for scientific purposes.
Finally, as every museum the required procedure will be followed by the people in charge in cases of acquisition and lending material from other Institutions.
